Some of my most memorable weddings are the smallest ones. Zoe and Duncan’s wedding was one of these. An incredibly touching ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall followed by drinks and dinner in the Pavilion and Penthouse Suite of The Dorchester in London. It was simple, elegant and I absolutely loved it! Continue reading “Small is Beautiful at The Dorchester”
Last night saw the launch of the new edition of Sarah Haywood‘s Wedding Bible. The Launch Party was a lavish affair and was held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane. I was delighted to be invited and was really pleased to help Sarah celebrate the launch of her book. The party was full of familiar faces and it was great to catch up with so many friends. I also came away with my own signed copy of the Wedding Bible and I can’t wait to have a good read through. Continue reading “Better Together… Sarah Haywood”
It’s not often the leading role in our blogs is a cake, but this is no ordinary cake – it’s a Peggy Porschen Cake with a story of its own to tell.
So, up next on our “Better Together” podium is the award-winning cake designer Peggy Porschen, who alongside her husband Bryn Morrow, head up one of the UK’s leading cake companies. Based in Belgravia, London, their client list extends to Kate Moss and Sir Elton John, to Stella McCartney, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Sting, Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow to name only a few. For anyone looking for a truly exceptional work of edible art, Peggy Porschen is the name to seek out. Continue reading “Better Together… The Queen of Cakes, Peggy Porschen”
A huge happy new year to everyone! We hope that you have survived the storms, and have had a fabulous festive time of love filled merriment.
2013 has been a very special year for us. On a personal level, our year kicked off with a bang, with the birth of our first baby girl, Poppy Tilly Bee, who has brought the most wonderful sunshine into our world. Continue reading “Memories of a Very Special Year!”
I had been excited about photographing Cass and Watson’s wedding ever since meeting them on their e-Shoot towards the end of last year. Continue reading “Reeling with Love on Grand National Day”
I met Sarah and Alex for the first time on their e-Shoot at West Wittering Beach earlier last year and knew instantly that their wedding was going to be a LOT of fun!
A couple of months later, their wedding took place at the romantic Ston Easton Park near Bath.
The Polish tradition of downing bread and a shot of vodka added a bit of extra zing to the already fun filled celebrations. Continue reading “Love, Merriment and Vodka at Ston Easton Park”
We have so many beautiful weddings to feature from last summer, so over the course of the next couple of months watch out for loads of love, fun and joyfulness to hit our blog.
This week we’re featuring Lucy & Ed’s bonnie Scottish wedding that took place just outside Edinburgh. The ceremony took place in the quaint church on the Hopetoun Estate in South Queensferry and the reception was held at Lucy’s stunning family home. Well, if you’re a fan of Downton Abbey on ITV (or on PBS in North America), what better place to get married than the truly wonderful Highclere Castle. Set on a picturesque rolling estate in Berkshire, Highclere is the perfect setting for a romance filled wedding. Sarah and Steve got married at Highclere on a sunny June afternoon. Having Highclere as their wedding venue meant the scene was set for an amazing day. Continue reading “The Scene is Set for a Highclere Wedding”
With all the rain we’ve been having over the past week, I thought it was an ideal time for us to feature one of our weddings from last summer. This may seem like a rather odd connection, but there is relevance, I promise!
Charlotte and Geoff got married on 16th July. A time of year that you would expect to be blessed with glorious summer sunshine. Continue reading “Rain, Rain, Go Away!”
We’ve been enjoying some amazing weather over the last few months and we’ve been making the most of it!
