A Winter Photoshoot in Petworth Park

I couldn’t resist blogging this shoot… simply because the Chaumeton’s really are one of the loveliest families you could ever meet. Lucie, Keith, and their children, Katie and Pip, came down from north London to spend a day in Petworth just before Christmas. We did the shoot first thing that morning, and while they were digging into a hearty pub lunch at our local, I edited the photographs ready for their viewing at our studio later that afternoon. A Happy Ending

We have absolutely loved photographing Tanya & Jim over the course of 2011. It began with their beach eShoot back in July, and then of course their b-e-a-u-t-f-u-l wedding that we blogged last month.
So all that remained to make their story complete, was a family shoot with their lovely 3 children, Beatrix, Huxley and Boux, which we did shortly after they returned from their honeymoon. What a perfect ending to their LIFE Book!

This evening sees the first of two episodes of a fantastic new wildlife documentary on Animal Planet, “Alone Among Grizzlies With Richard Terry”. It’s an amazing story set in a stunning Alaskan landscape. Richard not only presented the show but also filmed and produced it. Walking on the Moon

If you are a regular visitor to our blog you will know that we spend a lot of time on West Wittering beach. Last week we had a couple of shoots down there and the combination of low tide, dry sands, slight wind and blazing sunshine made for an amazing landscape. Before every shoot we always turn up 30-45 minutes early to walk the beach and discuss ideas. It’s important for us that each shoot is different as it can be easy to become complacent when using the same location. [Read more...]
