Many couples dream of running away to warmer climates to get married, and what better place than Lake Como in Italy. Known for love, romance, stunning architecture, beautiful soft light and fresh evening breezes. Continue reading “Love on Lake Como”
I have been incredibly lucky to have travelled around the world on photography assignments, but India had always been one place that remained un-ticked on my bucket list… until last year! I was spell-bound by the country, falling instantly in love with the colours, the people, the culture….
Infact, 2015 held a great deal of Indian spice in one way or another. Two multi-day Indian weddings hosted in the UK, an incredible 5 day adventure assignment in Rajasthan (blog post to feature shortly), and a beautiful, romantic engagement shoot for a India & Vik. Continue reading “A Passion for India”
I have been so excited to blog Sophie Dickinson and Lyndon Lea’s incredible African 3 day wedding that took place last summer.
Having spent over five years travelling around the world as a documentary TV producer and photographer for Discovery Channel and Animal Planet, it was my dream assignment to have a brief that incorporated travel, adventure, wildlife, culture… and a wedding. Everything I love all rolled into one amazing trip! Continue reading “Out of Africa – Wedding Photography in the Serengeti”
One of the things I love about our job is that so often we keep in touch with our couples long after their wedding. Pregnancy, babies, children, grand-children… all magical moments capture.
Larissa’s pregnancy shoot was incredibly special. Only a year before, I was photographing their beautiful wedding day at The Mandarin Oriental in London. Who was to know what exciting chapter lay so close ahead of them?!… Continue reading “A special Bump Shoot”
We love Hedsor House, an exclusive Georgian country home tucked away in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. We joke that it has a micro-climate all of its own, because every wedding we have photographed there, the weather has been on our side. Even days when the rain clouds have opened, it’s only been for a couple of minutes before the sun comes out again. Continue reading “Love at Hedsor House”
Some of my most memorable weddings are the smallest ones. Zoe and Duncan’s wedding was one of these. An incredibly touching ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall followed by drinks and dinner in the Pavilion and Penthouse Suite of The Dorchester in London. It was simple, elegant and I absolutely loved it! Continue reading “Small is Beautiful at The Dorchester”
I’m so excited to be blogging Penny & Josh’s wedding.
Not only did Penny wear one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen, they chose Babington House which happens to be one my favourite venues. I photographed the wedding with Joe and we both loved every second of the day. Continue reading “Summer Fun at Babington House”
Last night saw the launch of the new edition of Sarah Haywood‘s Wedding Bible. The Launch Party was a lavish affair and was held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane. I was delighted to be invited and was really pleased to help Sarah celebrate the launch of her book. The party was full of familiar faces and it was great to catch up with so many friends. I also came away with my own signed copy of the Wedding Bible and I can’t wait to have a good read through. Continue reading “Better Together… Sarah Haywood”
Happy 2015 everyone! We are so excited about the year ahead. We have many wonderful weddings and events to look forward to, and fabulous collaborations with some of the countries finest suppliers.
On that note, what better way to start the year than with a ‘Better Together’ blog. Today, it’s The Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, a stunning venue set deep in the Hampshire countryside. Last month I met up with the fabulous Emma Westacott from The Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, and it’s my absolute pleasure to introduce her here. Headed up by incredible Julia Dowling, you can guarantee that a Snapdragon event is of the highest quality filled with impeccable detail. We have worked with Julia on a number of events, but I think my favourite has to be Lucy & Max’s wedding which took place this Summer.
