I met Sarah and Alex for the first time on their e-Shoot at West Wittering Beach earlier last year and knew instantly that their wedding was going to be a LOT of fun!
A couple of months later, their wedding took place at the romantic Ston Easton Park near Bath.

Olivia and Rob got married in June last year. The venue was Lime Wood, a stunning boutique country house hotel and spa in the New Forest. Despite the less than wonderful summer we had in 2013, the weather behaved and the wedding party and guests were able to enjoy the terrace and gardens for a fun filled drinks reception. Nestled in the Stunning South Downs in West Sussex, Goodwood House is a fantastic location for a romantic and quintessentially English wedding.
Many of you will know of Goodwood for its famous motoring events, the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, and of course for the fantastic horse racing at Glorious Goodwood. Goodwood House was also recently featured on the ITV series “Great Houses with Julian Fellowes”. Well, if you’re a fan of Downton Abbey on ITV (or on PBS in North America), what better place to get married than the truly wonderful Highclere Castle. Set on a picturesque rolling estate in Berkshire, Highclere is the perfect setting for a romance filled wedding. Sarah and Steve got married at Highclere on a sunny June afternoon. After an amazing summer full of wonderful weddings we’re back to the blog with many, many beautiful photographs to share.
We’ve worked with some truly amazing couples in 2012 at some stunning venues including Goodwood House, Highclere Castle, Blenheim Palace, Botleys Mansion, Hampton Court Palace, Limewood House Hotel. Ston Easton, The Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire and Cowdray Ruins, to name just a few. We’ve travelled across the UK and also to Monaco and Guernsey photographing at some fabulous locations. A big thank you goes out to Martin Hill, Catherine Frawley and Eddie Judd who have joined us on some of the weddings, and to Kelly at The Bespoke Wedding Company, Marine at The Boutique Wedding Company, William Bartholomew, Quintessentially Events, Seyi at Cedar Events and Lisa at Just Bespoke who we have had the greatest of pleasure working with during this time. We often have couples booking us to photograph their wedding simply based on email and phone conversations. Sarah & Alex were one of these couples, so it wasn’t until their eShoot that I had the opportunity to meet them face-to-face.
The eShoot is such a great way for us to get to know our couples and just as importantly, for them to feel relaxed with us. The beach is one of my favourite locations for it – there’s something unexplainable and magical about the sea and walking barefoot in the sand that instantly puts people at ease. Bella and Olly are one of those couples who simply radiate happiness and anyone spending time in their company just can’t help smiling. We were to find this out very quickly on their fabulously fun Roman Holiday themed e-Shoot.
And their wedding, although more traditional in style, continued in much the same fashion. Co-ordinated by the magical Kelly Chandler from The Bespoke Wedding Company, and decorated throughout by Euphoric Flowers, their ceremony was held at St. Peters Church in SW1, and their reception took place at the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Hotel, overlooking Hyde Park.
